Make a Hanging Basket,

Once you’ve made this basket, take it home and dress it with poinsettias, holiday ribbon, or ornaments! Makes a wonderful alternative to a holiday wreath. Impress your dinner guests with your own handcrafted bread basket! Perfect to use at Thanksgiving or other holiday parties. Of course, that’s just one possible use for this versatile basket. Acrylic Paint Pouring, $35
Thursday, August 4, 2022, 6-8pm.
Create your own abstract masterpiece! No two pieces will be alike! Learn different pouring techniques, all without a brush. Each participant will create (2) 12x12 canvases. Different classes will focus on different techniques. Could get messy--so please dress appropriately. Pieces will be available for pick up in 2-4 days. Ages 14 and up.
Workshop: Make this 2-color basket!

This 2-color basket is decorative and functional! The solid wooden base makes this basket durable enough to use with a potted plant, but it can also hold notes, envelopes, pens, and more. The continuous step up twill weave pattern uses natural and smoked reed and the woven rim gives the basket its delicate look. Everyone leaves with a finished basket. Workshop: Learn to make your own basket!

Whether used as an Easter basket, gift basket, or an organizing tool, baskets are both decorative and functional. Now have fun making your own! We’ll use natural materials that are soaked in water to make them pliable. While making the basket, each participant will learn to set an open weave base, start and stop weave, create a rim and lash the rim to the basket. Our instructor, Shelly, will also discuss options to try at home for adding color!
Handbuilt Clay Wall Pocket,

Make your own clay wall pocket! Each person will handbuild their own having fun adding texture. You'll glaze the final piece with a sheer glaze enhancing the surface decoration. Pieces will be fired and available for pick up in about 1 week.

Polymer Clay Ornaments,

Make the most adorable polymer clay ornaments! Artist Banu Kesavalu will teach the group how to condition, sculpt, and bake polymer clay. Using these skills, each participant will make 2 ornaments, a penguin and a snowman. Perfect for ornament exchanges!
Polymer Clay Workshop,

In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to condition, sculpt, and bake polymer clay. Using these techniques, each participant will complete either 2 pendant necklaces or 1 pendant necklace with matching earrings. Our instructor, Banu Kesavalu, is an experienced Beading and Polymer Clay artist.
Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop,

Our instructor Barbara Muth will guide us through the old art form of Ukrainian Egg decorating, also known as Pysanky. We'll use an electric kistka to apply wax patterns on egg shells between layers of dye colors. The goal is for each participant to complete 1-2 decorated eggs to take home just in time for Easter! Spots are limited. Class is for adults (min age 16).
